Style TestIt is evaluated based on the sensations caused by human hands touching the fabric and the visual response to the fabric's appearance, namely hand feel and visual inspection. It is applicable to general fiber sheet products. So, what are its requirements? What is its method? Let me introduce them to you below.
I.Style TestRequirements
1. Outerwear fabrics: have a wool-like feel;
2. Underwear fabrics: have a soft cotton-like feel;
3. Summer fabrics: have a light, thin, and smooth silk-like feel or a crisp, smooth linen-like feel;
4. Winter fabrics: characterized by a full, thick, crisp, soft, and fluffy feel.

II.Style TestMethod
1. Pinch
Pinch the edge of the fabric with three fingers, with the right side facing up, the middle finger on the bottom, and the thumb and index finger on top. Cross and twist the fabric to determine its characteristics such as smoothness, elasticity, thickness, and body.
2. Feel
Place the cloth against your palm with the thumb on top and the other four fingers underneath, repeatedly rubbing the front and back of the local fabric to determine its characteristics such as thickness, softness, tightness, and smoothness.
3. Grasp
Gather the local fabric into a ball, varying the pressure, and repeatedly grasp and release it to determine its characteristics such as elasticity, flexibility, softness, fullness, and crispness.
4. Look
Observe carefully from local areas to the full width of the fabric to determine the quality of the fabric's luster, yarn texture, selvage, pattern, color, twill, and weft floats.
